HELSINKI (Reuters) – Finland’s recovery from recession remains slow and difficult, the country’s central bank said on Monday when it repeated its forecast for a shrinking economy in 2024.
The central bank kept its 2024 gross domestic product (GDP) estimate unchanged for a 0.5% contraction, mirroring its June forecast. It also revised its GDP growth projection for 2025 down to 1.1% from 1.2%.
