Investing.com – Greece stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Banking, Construction and Travel sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Athens, the Athens General Composite rose 0.31%.
The best performers of the session on the Athens General Composite were Kri-Kri Milk (AT:KRIr), which rose 3.23% or 0.40 points to trade at 12.80 at the close. Meanwhile, Holding Company ADMIE IPTO SA (AT:ADMr) added 2.97% or 0.07 points to end at 2.26 and Iktinos Hellas (AT:IKTr) was up 2.78% or 0.01 points to 0.37 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Domiki Kritis SA (AT:DKRr), which fell 2.53% or 0.09 points to trade at 3.28 at the close. Interlife General Insurance Company SA (AT:INLIFr) declined 2.05% or 0.10 points to end at 4.79 and Thessaloniki Water and Sewage Co SA (AT:TWSr) was down 1.86% or 0.06 points to 3.16.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Athens Stock Exchange by 67 to 43 and 25 ended unchanged.
Shares in Kri-Kri Milk (AT:KRIr) rose to all time highs; rising 3.23% or 0.40 to 12.80.
Gold Futures for December delivery was down 0.16% or 4.05 to $2,606.65 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in November rose 1.82% or 1.23 to hit $68.98 a barrel, while the November Brent oil contract rose 1.59% or 1.14 to trade at $72.75 a barrel.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.42% to 1.11, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.17% to 0.84.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.38% at 100.40.
