(Reuters) – Storm Leslie formed over the tropical eastern Atlantic and is expected to strengthen into a hurricane in a couple of days, the U.S. National Hurricane Center said on Wednesday.
Tropical storm Leslie was about 490 miles (790 km) southwest of the southernmost Cape Verde Islands, packing maximum sustained winds of 40 mph (65 kph).
There are no coastal watches or warnings in effect, the latest NHC advisory added.
